# Fee Schedule

Every fee anywhere in the core protocol, in one place. If a cost isn't listed here, it doesn't exist — there's no hidden fee anywhere in The Heist.

| # | Fee                      | When it applies                                                                                  | Rate                             | Where it goes                |
| - | ------------------------ | ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ | -------------------------------- | ---------------------------- |
| 1 | Genesis deposit fee      | Depositing into [Genesis](/the-heist-docs/how-it-works/genesis.md)                               | 1%                               | 50% dev / 50% Treasury       |
| 2 | Hideout claim cost       | Claiming a fresh LOOT batch right away                                                           | 25%, shrinking to 0% over 5 days | Destroyed                    |
| 3 | Below-target sell tax    | Selling LOOT while price is under 98% of target                                                  | 5% (90–98%) or 10% (under 90%)   | 75% Floor / 25% Treasury     |
| 4 | Base trading fee         | Every trade, either direction, any price                                                         | 0.35%                            | Liquidity providers          |
| 5 | Protocol liquidity slice | Every trade, either direction, any price                                                         | 0.15%                            | The protocol's own liquidity |
| 6 | Cash-out fee             | Redeeming LOOT at [the Floor](/the-heist-docs/how-it-works/the-floor.md)                         | **0%**                           | —                            |
| 7 | Genesis withdrawal fee   | Withdrawing your Genesis deposit after its lock ends                                             | **0%**                           | —                            |
| 8 | Farm staking fee         | Staking or unstaking LP in [Gauge Farms](/the-heist-docs/how-it-works/gauge-farms-and-voting.md) | **0%**                           | —                            |
| 9 | Lock-into-liquidity fee  | Locking a fresh LOOT batch into protocol liquidity instead of claiming it                        | **0%**                           | —                            |

**Above target, trading never costs more than the base 0.5% (rows 4 + 5), which applies everywhere, in both directions.** That base rate is a restructure of a normal trading fee, not an added cost — the Printer is what captures the upside of an above-target market, so trading itself stays as cheap and open as possible in that zone.

## The rows that are deliberately zero

Several actions in this protocol are built to cost nothing at all, on purpose:

* **Cashing out at the Floor** — the whole point of the Floor's guarantee is that the number it quotes is the number you actually get. See [The Floor](/the-heist-docs/how-it-works/the-floor.md).
* **Withdrawing your Genesis deposit** — your original deposit was never the protocol's to keep a cut of.
* **Staking in Gauge Farms** — a liquidity provider shouldn't be charged for the same activity that earns them rewards.
* **Locking a batch into liquidity** — the whole point of this option is to make it the *most* attractive way to use a fresh batch, not a lesser choice with its own cost attached.

## Where every fee ends up

    A[Genesis deposit fee] -->|50%| Dev[Dev]

    C[Below-target sell tax] -->|75%| F[Floor]

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://the-heist-1.gitbook.io/the-heist-docs/tokenomics/fee-schedule.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
